Ҥ 2
Purpose of the association

  1. The association pursues exclusively and directly non-profit and charitable purposes within the meaning of the section „Tax-privileged purposes“ of the German Tax Code (AO).
  2. According to § 52 paragraph 2 AO, the purposes of the association are:
    • the promotion of international sentiment, tolerance in all areas of culture and the idea of international understanding;
    • the promotion of youth and elderly care and the promotion of education, popular and vocational training, including student support;
    • the promotion of nature conservation and landscape conservation in accordance with the Federal Nature Conservation Act and the nature conservation laws of the federal states, environmental protection, coastal protection and flood protection;
    • the promotion of aid for politically, racially or religiously persecuted persons, for refugees, displaced persons, ethnic German repatriates, ethnic German resettlers, war victims, war survivors, war-disabled persons and prisoners of war, civilian victims and disabled persons as well as aid for victims of crime; the promotion of the memory of persecuted persons, victims of war and disasters; the promotion of the search service for missing persons;
    • the promotion of animal welfare;
    • the promotion of equal rights for women and men;

Furthermore, within the meaning of § 53 paragraph 1 AO, the selfless support of persons who are dependent on the help of others due to their physical, mental or psychological condition.

3. the purpose of the statutes is realized in particular through the following activities:

a. Educational work in the areas of tolerance and environmental protection
b. Promotion of school education/vocational training
c. Projects that promote a more conscious use of natural resources

d. The purposes stated in § 2 para. 2 shall also be realized by raising funds for other tax-privileged organizations.

4. funds of the association may only be used for the statutory purposes.
5. furthermore, no person may benefit from expenses that are alien to the purpose of the association or from disproportionately high remuneration.”

Zweck des Vereins

  1. Der Verein verfolgt ausschließlich und unmittelbar gemeinnützigeund mildtätigeZwecke im Sinne des Abschnitts „Steuerbegünstigte Zwecke“ der Abgabenordnung (AO).
  2. Zweckedes Vereinssind nach§ 52 Absatz 2AO:
    • die Förderung internationaler Gesinnung, der Toleranz auf allen Gebieten derKultur und des Völkerverständigungsgedankens;
    • die Förderung der Jugend undAltenhilfeunddie Förderung der Erziehung, Volks– und Berufsbildung einschließlich der Studentenhilfe;
    • dieFörderung des Naturschutzes und der Landschaftspflege im Sinne des Bundesnaturschutzgesetzes und der Naturschutzgesetze der Länder, des Umweltschutzes, des Küstenschutzes und des Hochwasserschutzes;
    • dieFörderung der Hilfe für politisch, rassisch oder religiös Verfolgte, für Flüchtlinge, Vertriebene, Aussiedler, Spätaussiedler, Kriegsopfer, Kriegshinterbliebene, Kriegsbeschädigte und Kriegsgefangene,Zivilbeschädigte und Behinderte sowie Hilfe für Opfer von Straftaten; Förderung des Andenkens an Verfolgte, Kriegs–und Katastrophenopfer; Förderung des Suchdienstes für Vermisste;
    • dieFörderung des Tierschutzes;
    • dieFörderung derGleichberechtigung von Frauen und Männern;

Außerdemim Sinne des§ 53 Absatz 1 AOdie selbstlose Unterstützung von Personen, die infolge ihres körperlichen, geistigen oder seelischen Zustands auf die Hilfe anderer angewiesen sind.

3. DerSatzungszweck wird insbesondere durch folgende Tätigkeiten verwirklicht:

a.Aufklärungsarbeit in den Bereichen Toleranz und Umweltschutz
b.Förderung der schulischen Ausbildung/ Berufsausbildung
c.Projekte, die einen bewussteren Umgang mit natürlichen Ressourcenfördern

d. Die in §2 Absatz 2 beschriebenen Zwecke werden auch durch die Beschaffung
von Mitteln für andere steuerbegünstigte Körperschaften verwirklicht.

4. Mittel des Vereins dürfen ausschließlich für satzungsmäßige Zwecke verwendet werden.

5. Weiterhin darf keine Person durch Ausgaben, die dem Zweck des Vereins fremd sind,
oder durch unverhältnismäßig hohe Vergütungen begünstigt werden.”
